Nikon's 50mm f1.2 lens is a little jewel!

Nikon started making this manual focus lens back in 1981 and it has been in the catalog ever since. It is currently the fastest (has the widest aperture ratio) of any production Nikon lens.

It is an AI-S lens, meaning that it can use the meter in some of the modern Nikon camera bodies.

While some of the modern lenses have great optical qualities, it's a shame that the beautiful engineering has been lost over the years.
